How long did it take? I can hand wash and clay one of my cars in about 45 minutes.

Like 3 hours roughly? The clay bar took forever as it was a high of 12 Celsius and my hands weren't warm enough to keep it nice and supple.

I’m all ready to do the S2000, but there was 1cm of snow last week, for which they salted up the roads, and no rain in sight. Waiting 'til the salt washes away.

Took me a good 6 yours to wash, clay and wax last time I did it and by car was almost brand new then!

45 min? I’m no car wash expert, but that is pretty quick

I feel your pain, washed the Camaro Monday night, came out the next morning for work and 3 birds had pooped on it.

it sucks that the bird crapped on it, but the clay treatment will make it so much easier to remove the bird poo.

Yeah I quickly sprayed it off last night, I’ll try and get another wash and proper wax in this weekend.

The birds have designated whatever car is parked in my driveway as their bathroom, I feel your pain. I have lived in my house since 2001, and this is the first year it has happened. I got one of these. It helps a little...

I hate clay-barring my cars.

I discovered I have wimpy girly hands now that I’m in the office a lot more, that’s part of the reason it took so long.

Yeah I might have to get one of those, it happens at work often enough that it’s pretty upsetting.

It takes me around 4 hours to wash, clay, and wax my car. It looks fantastic after it’s done but damn do I hate doing it.

A bird shat on mine while still drying off last year, maybe 15 minutes after I finished. Them’s the breaks!

Edit: wow, that is a huge turd. He must have wanted to do yours after 15 minutes also, but had to save up.

I think it was a crow or something, it was close to 3-4 inches across, plus splatter.

I would have bought a gun if that happened to me.

It’s a well known fact any hand wash/exterior detailing attracts massive birds and surprise thunderstorms.

I feel your pain. Be glad you don’t have geese everywhere.

Rumor has it that when a bird shits on your car, it’s for good luck.
